The LEGO Technic 42050-1 Drag Racer, a 647-piece model from 2016, offers an authentic 2-in-1 replica of a high-powered dragster. This Technic rendition features a distinctive "muscle car" aesthetic, rendered in a vivid blue and black color scheme with cool flame stickers. Engineers can observe the massive V8 engine, complete with moving pistons, by raising the body shell to expose the detailed chassis and exhaust pipes. Further functional details include working steering, a working transmission, huge rear tires for maximum grip, and a large rear spoiler for aerodynamic stability. A built-in wheelie function allows for dynamic display. This model rebuilds into an alternative Supercharged Dragster.
