The LEGO Pirates II Soldiers' Fort (6242-1) recreates a military outpost featuring a formidable prison, from which no pirate has ever successfully escaped. This set centers on a pirate attempting a daring breakout, needing to secure the prison key from a cunning monkey guard. Four soldiers patrol the fort, while a pirate captain approaches in a row boat, perhaps to assist or claim the treasure chest located within the fortress. Key play functions include a pull-action cannon ready for defense and a winch system to hoist the treasure chest. The stockade offers further play scenarios, complemented by a crocodile and fish for the island environment. The fortress itself measures 30 cm long and 17 cm high.
