Enter the arena for a competition with the LEGO Competition Spyder Slayer (8266-1) from 1998. This set features a motorised spider that moves and jumps, evading attacks. Players pilot Blue Flash, a vehicle controlled by its articulated arms, aiming to strike a target on the spider. Hitting this target triggers a play function: the spider's controller is dislodged from its seat, stopping the motor and signifying victory. The set's integrated Technic gear system drives the spider's erratic movement and the dislodging mechanism. This vintage LEGO set offers a challenge, testing precision and timing against an unpredictable, motorised opponent in a classic skill contest.
