The LEGO Power Miners Thunder Driller 8960-1 features the essential mining vehicle equipped for deep subterranean expeditions. This rugged driller boasts a massive double-geared, auto-rotating planetary drill designed to bore through solid rock formations and access hidden rock monster hives. Its magma-core engine keeps the powerful dual-direction drill constantly spinning, supported by huge spiked wheels for treacherous terrain. A unique play feature allows the motor shield to open, revealing the intricate gearing system and chambers for storing excavated crystals. The set comes with two dedicated miners and a troublesome rock monster, ready for subterranean encounters. This impressive 20cm long vehicle also combines with the #8958 Granite Grinder to form the even larger Aero Shredder, expanding play possibilities.
