Citizens outside carry shopping bags, send letters at the mailbox, admire window mannequins, and enjoy the ice cream stand while a window washer is busy above. Revolving doors reveal a ground-floor clothing department, featuring a cash register, fitting room, hats, jewelry, perfume, and even spare trousers. A brick-built escalator ascends to the second-floor housewares department, offering glassware and golden plates. The top floor hosts a toy department with a toy house and push-scooter, all under an impressive chandelier in the open atrium. A billboard and skylight adorn the roof.
